Sandra Darlene (Lafferty) McKinzie

Funeral services will be held at Faith Apostolic Church; 603 S. White Ave., Sheridan, Indiana. The viewing will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016  from 10am-12pm, with funeral services starting at 12pm. Pastor Randy Adams will be officiating.

Sandra Darlene (Lafferty) McKinzie, 66, of Sheridan, passed away February 22, 2016 in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on April 22, 1949 to Glenn Lafferty and Emojean Lafferty in Martin, Kentucky.

Sandra worked for BMO Harris Bank as a bank teller in Westfield, Indiana until 2012. She was a member of Victory Life Church in Westfield, Indiana.  Sandra enjoyed creating floral arrangements, drawing and painting, and doing crafts with her great-grandchildren. She loved visiting the beach and also had a love for cats.

She is survived by her three loving children; Bryan McKinzie of Sheridan, Rachel (John) Tilson of Erwin, Tennessee, and Michelle (John) Bowen of Sheridan. She was a proud grandmother of five grandchildren; Megan, Shelbey, Jessica, Kyle, and Andrea. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her father and stepmother; Glenn and Suzie Lafferty, four sisters, her half-sister, two step-sisters and her step-brother. Sandra was preceeded in death by her mother; Emojean Lafferty.
